I have not been to a dr. Yet for advice. I know from a bone density test two years ago I have disk issues. The sciatic pain started 2 months ago I take percocet 325 mg but it doesn't touch the pain. I will be making an appointment with a back dr. To see how he can help. Anyone else having same issues. Thanks

Most of us on here have that problem. You probably have degenerative disk disease that is pinching on a nerve. You could also have a ruptured disc. An MRI of the lower spine can usually be the best test to see what is going on. I'm sure your new doctor will order one for you. There are lots of meds for nerve pain out there besides opiate drugs like you are taking. There is Neuontin, Lyrica, Cymbalta, and others. Let us know what your new doctor has to say & good luck to you...
