I have recently been diagnosed with colon cancer on my liver, is it safe to use trilipix?

This is from http://www.drugs.com/pro/trilipix.html#section_4

" Trilipix is contraindicated in:
patients with severe renal impairment, including those receiving dialysis.
patients with active liver disease, including those with primary biliary cirrhosis and unexplained persistent liver function abnormalities. "

You will need to talk to your doctor. It may well not be safe for you to take Trilipix.
