Only your doctor will be able to diagnose what is causing the skin problem and what anti-biotic is best to treat it.
Cefuroxime is a broad spectrum, second generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It will depend on what type of bacteria is causing your skin infection as to whether Cefuroxime will help or not.
