I could not take Kadian. but I did take Percocet 10/325mg every 4-6 hours I am now on Avinza which is a extended release morphine and morphine Sulphate 15mg imm for breathrough pain. Avina ia expensive but the drug company has a cupon out there that you can get you script for free for about six months. It is my experience that percocet and morphine are fairly inexpensive. Good Luck with all of this it is not bad enough that we have to deal with the pain that we have to scrimp on what we can afford to take. I went off of the percocet because of the tylenol in it. I have taken other meds but they are also very expensive my co-pays were 50 to 65 dollars. I hope you can find the pain relief that you deserve at a price that you can afford. Take care and God Bless

Has your doctor tried you on neurontin? Ask him/her about it. My copay is only 3 bucks. It's far cheaper than the Lyrica and Cymbalta I was taking. Of course, if you can't tolerate it, it doesn't matter if it's free. However, it is available in generic so even at Wal-Mart it should be no more than 4 bucks even if you have to pay out of pocket. You may have noticed that the Norco doesn't really do anything for the peripheral pain - no surprise there. You may feel better in general, but opiates generally aren't effective in treating neuropathy. Best wishes. Goodnewsdoc
