i have been trying to live off of 5-hour energies... or starbucks double shot energy drinks. nothing works! i think its one of my meds but i started taking the skelaxin 800mg and the vlalium 10mg at the same time. idk which one is making me soooooooo EXTREMELY TIRED. i fall asleep everywhere. on the toilet, at work, driving. i just need some energy. idk which med i gotta give up, but i am more than willing if it means being normal again. i literally feel narcoleptic

No wonder you fell extremely tired, did a check on the Interactions Checker & this was reported:
Applies to: Valium (diazepam), Skelaxin (metaxalone)
MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.
MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.

hi maliss,can you take them after work or split the dose in half ?talk to your doctor asap.you could hurt yourself or even worse have an accident while driving. if you look on line to what you can and Cant do,try to take your meds at a time that reflects your daily life.good luck and please be careful...

Hi malissab; c'mon now, get BOTH eyes open!! Here's my take on Your problem. Basically, the SUB. is right on the money! I take prednisone, sertraline, nifedepine, Atenolol, and shitloads of Asprin. Would You believe that ALL those drugs interact with each other EXCEPT Asprin. In short Girl, I got exactly the same thing you got, plus I got 2 Doctors who don't know thier "ass from a hole in the ground"! So here's what i'm doing. First I got ahold of "Drugs.com! In the MED NOTES section I found out which of my drugs were interacting, and the worst of the bunch [believe it or not] was good ol' ZOLOFT (sertraline) which i've been on for 8yrs. It's called DEPRESSION by medical society...

ok... i looked them up on the interaction checker... norco, skelaxin, and valium... i didnt understand a word of that shit! it said something about the central nervous system and something about affecting my ability to do things that involve alertness. it was a bunch of big words that i have no idea what they mean! lmao why cant it just say... if you take this with that, you'll be sleepy!? i dont get it!

Hi melissab+ Back when I was doing drugs for fun, skelaxin & valium were known as "downers"! Like when you'd been on Meth. or Coke for a few days and wanted to come down, you bought/traded for a fistfull of downs, and knocked yourself out for a few days. "Wise up sweetheart, you're livin' on SLEEPERS... DOWNERS ! Get off them... and if you want to keep on living, STAY AWAY FROM ALL THIS PHONY CRYSTAL METH. THAT'S BEEN GOING AROUND KILLING PEOPLE"! I don't know, other than Pseudophedrine (Hey, WOW, I think I spelled that right!) what all they got in that crap but I know for sure that forms of it poison people... So whatare you gonna' do. GET OFF THE DOWNERS !SWEETHEART ! ! idk my opinion on you dear. you give good advice sometimes... sometimes... you seem a lil bitchy! no offence! i love ya to death! im not on street drugs. i have resorted to buying lorcets from someone once when i ran out of pills. the skelaxin is for my muscle spasms. the lodine is for my arthritis. the valium is for my anxiety, and the lorcet of course is for pain! i have a twisted pelvic bone, deterioration, arthritis, and nerve problems in my lower back and they think i have fibromyalgia because of the pain i have ALL over my body. you make me sound like a crackhead or something! i have chronic pain. im trying my best to deal with it every day. i use to do street drugs too. i use to smoke pot and do cocaine. i've never tried meth or ex or anything like that. i did smoke crack a couple of times. i can count them on my hands. i honestly dont see how ppl get hooked on that stuff! it made me feel horrible. i just wanna clear things up. i want to continue our good relationship.

im also on the lorcet 7.5s. they lorcets use to give me energy. i'd take one in the morning, my pain would disappear... i would clean the whole house and cook dinner and function really great! now im dragging... its everything i can do to type this. last night i was on this sight, trying to be helpful and reply to ppl and i fell asleep for idk how long. i woke up and still had a porkchop and some macaroni in my mouth. i was sitting straight up of the computer passed out! its crazy... which one should i stop using?

Guess you'd better be gettin off the "Lorcet 7.5's too huh! there's a Zillion pain drugs out there. My own personal thoughts on all the pain crap is that it's made to quit after so long. Then We got to change drugs, and "Big- Pharma" maks some bucks. (:->)
