I have Macular Degeneration & have shots of Avastin 50mg in my eyes once a month. ... I have a problem getting the fluid out of my eyes & the DR. has to give me a shot every month trying to remove the fluid. Could the Enbrel shots , which lower my immune system, be having some effect on them being unable to dry the fluid from my eyes ?
Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do ?

There are no known side effects of Enbrel causing fluid retention in the eyes ... but it could be possible.
The only ocular side effects noted are ocular inflammation and dry eyes. Uveitis has also been reported during postmarketing experience.
