I'm halfway through week 11 and feel like its a race with the devil. Very concerned with the low red cell count. Down to 29 and Doc is still "monitoring". If we are killing off so darn many red cells is it the poison's in us that's killing the white cells? I am seriously hoping that once the Telaprevir is done, I'll start having the feeligs of a normal human being. Please let us know what your Doc says about your white count. Good luck and congratulations getting through the 12 weeks of incevik!!

They must have different ways of testing cbc. WBC standard range is 4.5-10.0 K/uL RBC standard range is 4.6-6.20 M/uL

My HCT readings are down to 27 which equates to a hemoglobin count of 8.7 which Doc is telling me is extremeely close to blood transfusion time. They are cutting by riboviran from 1200 mg per day to 600 in the attempts to stabilize the hemglobin. I'm not a Docotr so don't understand all the numbers and iterations but I do know this anemea is kicking my ass has has me quite concerned.

RubyWolf i think that you did pretty good if your wbc is just now getting low! I started dropping both wbc and rbc after the first week.
I am really ready for the rash and fog to go away too last day of incivek. This has been alot harder then just peg and rib was. Waiting for week 12 lab results. Hope your labs come back stable
Im at week 6 half way and can't wait for Incivek to be done I too praying the side effects decrease
Side affects are horrible! But the important question is are you rapid response?
