I know Questran and Metamucil are used to treat hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol).
Try and manage the regime for a while at least to see how the Questran and Metamucil work for you. If it doesn't help with lowering your cholesterol then you could stop or change it.
I suppose you take Synthroid before breakfast. Perhaps try taking the atenolol with Synthroid as well. Then you can take Questran and Metamucil with your meals.
