I have fibromyalgia, Reflexive Sympathetic Dystrophy,Silent seizures and I am on Zoloft 100mg 2x daily, Xanax 1mg 3x daily. Having 3 neurological disorders and having tried everything but Chantix to quit smoking I am wondering if this could be dangerous to me. I just don't know what else I can do- anyone have an opinion?

I smoked for 50 years and had tried everything to quit. Finally Chantix, took it for 8 weeks and IT WORKED. I think you're suppose to take it longer, but it gave me some wild dreams, so I didn't take it as long as suggested. I would ask your dr. before taking it though because of your other medical problems. I have been smoke-free for a year and 1/2 and am really glad I quit, and it doesn't bother me to be around the smoke and I do not have the urge for a smoke. Good Luck.
