I read up on it too. It sounds really scary. I definitely would be concerned about taking a full dose the first time if it's supposed to be taken before bed. Who knows how you'll react. I'd have someone monitor me to make sure you're just asleep and not in a coma. If you can set an alarm and wake up for the next dose, I guess you'll be able to assess from there if any additional side effects are involved. I definitely wouldn't even consider it if you drink anything at all alcoholic. This stuff sounds Michael Jackson serious. Good luck if you decide to go with it. I think I'd visit a pain specialist to talk about how this drug is taken and what you should expect.

Are you sure that this doctor has a license? He wants you to take GHB, Ecstasy!!! For treatment of fibromyalgia? That is insane. You can't even get it by prescription, retail pharmacies don't carry it. My advice is to run, don't walk, and find yourself a new doctor!

Since you posted 2 years ago, & I'm just now seeing your question, I hope you have come to your senses & changed doctors.! ILived in Wyoming for a few years , & a doctor there was indited & convicted for having sex with his patients while doing GYN exams! Yes, hard to believe, but after one person went forward eveyone of his patients said the same thing! He's still in prison. You need to see a Rheumatologist for Fibromyalgia, although, more GP's are being educated about this horrible disease. Good luck to you...
