So I've had some elevated numbers on my blood tests that point to possible auto immune conditions ie. Sjogrens but when repeated they were normal. Someone help! What could be causing my symptoms? Went to the dentist and all of my teeth have problems due to the no saliva! This is making depression worse making pained anxieties worse... where does this all end? Any input welcome...
I have fibromyalgia also severely dry mouth and eyes sjogrens is being looked into?

Thank you for your response I appreciate u taking the tome to read and offer the advice! I am going back and forth with my drs and giving them all my symptoms just hoping someone might offer some advice that I can share with them that might just b the key to help them answer/solve this puzzle!

Hi fibromama,
Have they ever considered Aynklosing Spondylitis. Do you have back problems? Do you have any herniated discs? The reason I am asking is that AS is an auto immune disorder that is presented by pain and swelling. It is basically spinal arthritis. It shows up in a blood test.
Pain causes depression. Have you ever considered counseling or taking medication like Cymbalta which is used for pain and depression and works very well.
As someone suggested Biotene mouthwash and toothpaste works very well at moistening the mouth.
Hang in there. It will get better.

Thank you for your input I am actually on 120 mg of Cymbalta 300 mg of Welbutrin, Levothyroxin, skelaxin, 80 mg Oxycontin, and 10/325 percocet for breakthrough pain! I hate the MEDS I just want the old me back :v(... ok I got that out. I am seeing my therapist regularly and as for the AS I will have to check with my rheumatologist because my pain first originated as low back pain! Thank u for taking the time to read and for your input!!

OCT 20 ,2011... SJOGRENS ??? DIAGNOSED.
My hospital discharged me on oct 20..I thought I was going to feel better soonThe blood test were..quote ..very high for sjogrens. But my DNA showed neg. (?). The doctors are fussing over to treat or not. I went to my opthmalogist..I have been found to have "dry eye' severe. I am legally blind in one eye already so I must take care of the one eye left. I have to use estrogen to help with female dryness issuses. I just wonder ??? I am sooo tired I have fallen alsleep eating woke up choking.This is a chronic issuse..no cure ..but treatable. I can be serious,depending if there is any damage to organs.

Hi: Your question rings a bell with me too!. I am sorry you are struggling. I just finished with all the blood work for Sjogrens and all came back negative. I think it is very difficult to diagnose ugh. My feeling from the rhumatologist sp? I saw is the medications we are on, such as Cymbalta can cause increase in dry mouth. I too have fibro and always had dry eyes and dry mouth. Who knows why? I tried Elavil, Pristiq and my dryness was ten times worse. Now I take Neurontin, Lexapro and Klonopin for sleep and I notice some dryness after a bit, but I sleep with water by my bed. So important to drink plain water (not coke if you know what i mean.)
All you can do is really tackle these symptoms. Sip water thu the day. I really like the Biotene gel. The toothpaste is sort of gross and did not help me, but give it a try. Watch your caffeine intake. Also, I cut way back on salty snacks which actually really helps. Alcohol makes me worse.
