I have epilepsy and took 1/2 of a promethazine pill. I haven't had a seizure in 15 years and?

Dear Laceylee1303,
I have had epilepsy all my life,(57 years) and did not have a major seizure for 22 years, but when i did in 1987, i had to be put on a new regimen of anti-convoulsives for life.You say that you are not taking any medicine @ this time,but it is hard to say whether you will have another "episode" or not.
If i were you,i would consult with either your primary care doctor,or neurologist on this matter.I hope that this will guide you in your quest.

Hi LaceyLee1303, have you been prescribed the Promethazine for nausea/vomiting, this is what I am taking it for and is very good for that. But I did read somewhere that there is a caution for someone who has seizures, so unless your doctor prescribed this to you taking this drug might not be in you best interest.
