Lamisil or the athlete's foot medicine with Tolfunate is really good with ring worm. My doctor called me in something and told me about these other 2 and the one with tolfonate really worked the best I think. There are 21 layers of skin and ring worm gets all the way through them. It takes 3 to 4 weeks for it to clear up. It could be spreading because you actually were exposed there also, or, your fingers brushed that also when you were treating. Make sure you wash your hands Thoroughly, after treating it.
