... for the rest of my life. I am in remission but I have awful shakes, anxiety or Gleevec causes tremors. Take your pick, i have been told it's one of them. I have been taking 1mg xanax in the morning and 1 in the afternoon and then one at bedtime. I also take 60mgs of Elavil at bedtime to control my migraines. I was diagnosed with CML in March of 2009. I saw a psychriatrist yesterday that wants me to take klonopin instead of xanax. I am to take half of a .5mg every 4 hrs and max 6tabs a day. Usually I would of taken a 1mg of xanax around 8-8.30pm then my Elavil (anti-depressant) at bedtime and slept fine. Last night I took the half of the .5 klonopin and the Elavil and was awake till after midnight so I took the other half of the Klonipin and finally fell asleep. But I woke up sick to my stomach this morning and have no appetite and I have to eat cause I have to have a meal in me to take my chemo pill or I throw it up. Is this something with the klonopin that will pass when my body gets used to it or not? I actually felt better on the xanax but they don't last long in your body and I think my body had gotten immuned to the 1mg dose. Does any one have any advice for me?
Thanks, Dee
