Tamiflu must be taken within 24-48 hours from the onset of symptoms to even be effective. Tamiflu only reduces flu symptoms on average by about 1 day. So if the flu symptoms lasted for say 10 days in a person that was not using Tamiflu, they would only last for 9 days in a person that was taking Tamiflu.
Personally, i think this drug is a waste of money.
