I have been taking this medicaton for over 6 years?

My colitis is in remission. I have asked my doctor to stop taking Colazal and he will not take me off the meds. What are some of the other options?

You need to discuss this with your doctor again. He/She may be thinking that taking you off Colazal will make your colitis active again.
