My blood pressure was 140/85 before and now is 135/80. do you think I should ask my doctor to prescribe a different drug??

Many times people require more than one medication to bring down their blood pressure. It is not uncommon for people to be on 3 or 4 medications to get their blood pressure under control. If you are just taking lisinopril, the doctor may want to consider placing you on a combination product such as lisinopril/HCTZ.
