I feel less tired when I take it {same dose} but in intervals, tho someone told me it works less and not right to take it spread out like that. I was on Methadone for eleven years after several failed back surgeries and I dont wanna feel sick again, I was taking 80mg a day for pain. The subs work good, sure not like the low from the dones.Thanks for the help w my question.
I have been on suboxone & have questions about my dosing, is it ok to dose two or threeX instead?

Iv,e been an addict for 40 years and methadone worked for me but went off it in may at a detox.within a week i was using again and just started suboxone 3 days ago and this is the first day im feeling a bit better but will see the doc on mon. for an increase as im only on 6mg,s.Sounds to me like your looking for a magic answer,there arent any.Be true to yourself and you will find what you need at the proper dose if you catch my drift.Be well my freind.
Thanks, ya I have relapsed a couple times and have been on Methadone before the Subs for eleven years and before that it was Norco,Oxy, and so many others. Not looking for a magic answer just wondering if it is ok to take it throughout the day as opposed to one dose in the am. I am on 12mg but doc has told me to try and take 8, yet prescribes me enough to take 12. The addict in me has always taken the max amount and U and I know I dont wanna f up this chance to be sober. Thanks for the advice...
I have been splitting my dose for a while and I have personally not noticed it to be any less effective. I know everyone is different and I am taking the subs because I had become too dependent on pain meds and was originally given a little too much in the beginning. I do want to thank everyone who commented since I learn more when I hear about everyone else's experience. Thanks.

Hi,Im now at 16mgs of Suboxone each day for opiate addiction.Was on methadone for 10 years but came off it in May and quickly ended up using again.Started suboxone a little over a week ago and am wondering if there is an optimum dose or is it more individual as i feel i still need an increase which the doc at the clinic i go to here in Canada does 2mgs at a time.Any info would be helpfull.Thanks,John
Thanks for the imput, yeah..I personally am so glad to be off of the opiates for good. I am still in some pain but Suboxone seems to be what my Doc wants to keep me on, however he wants me to stay on it forever, due to the 13" of metal that is broken in my back and causing pain~yet methadone made me so drug starving that I worry now I will be hooked on a replacement. My family says I basically traded one drug for the other. I have such weird feelings of it all, are you familiar with long term use?Do they increase or decrease in the first few months in? My doc today said to try to take less, but less is good. I said ok, and now am already trippin like I did when I use to use methadone, oxy, everything, you name it. Sorry blah blah...ill go now.
