No do not stop taking loestrin . Keep on taking the pills as instructed... the pills suppress ovulation and therefore stop you from getting pregnant.
If you stop taking the pills you can ovulate which will increase your chance of becoming pregnant.
Talk with your doctor if you are still unsure.
