alot of the side effects never feel good. tired dizzy hypoglycemia agitated many more.
7.5 per day. I need to take it for 2 more months. Is this normal. Is it OK to take this for 4-6 months. Warfurin was worse, side effects more severe.
I have been on arixtra for 2 months to treat PE/DVT. No regular blood work has been ordered?

You do not need to have blood work completed like you had while on the Warfarin. That is the whole point of being on the Arixtra. If you do have blood work completed to ensure that you are at the correct levels, make sure that the doctor clearly marks on the anti-Xa assay test that they have to complete the test using an Arixtra (fondaparinux) calibrator. You can be on this medication for life, if that's what your doctors determine is necessary. Before you come off of the Arixtra, I would make sure that the doctors do another Doppler to ensure that the existing DVT is gone and a CT for the PE.
