... zopenex. No imrovement in symptoms, but ow have diarrhea, confusion, insomnia, hot flashes and my body is itching like crazy. Are these normal responses to predisone in this low dose?

Short-term side effects of prednisone may include: Stomach irritation, which could be the cause of diarrhea , headaches, insomnia, & mood changes (including irritability or aggression).
If they become too bothersome, please seek medical attention from the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med to either alter or change the med which is more comfortable, however no interactions were reported between the other meds that you take.
