Im a private duty nurse, i administer Tobramycin via inline vent neb tx to my pt on a daily basis for the last 3 months. Could being in the room when the neb tx is running/ handling the medication interfear with my birth control? Im already over a month late, but the home tests have been negative, and i take my BC ritualisticly. If so what sort of effects are associated with Tobramycin and pregnancy?
I have been administering Tobramycin via neb tx to my pt, could this interact with my birth control?

Birth control pills can cause changes to your periods making them longer, shorter, heavier, lighter or even absent.
It is unlikely to be caused from handling tobramycin.
See your doctor if you are concerned.
