4 months I have a rxn where I seem a bit out of it and then slee for long periods of time. When awake I sometimes have halucinations. I am extremely fearful of everthing and after a couple days can no longer speak, am unable to process and need help with ADL. Do any of you have any thing like this?
I have an IT pump with Prialt. I would like to ask if any of you have side effects. About every 3-?

So sorry I have just seen your question. I also had the same effects from Prialt. My PM told me it was all in my head that I was feeling that way. I am sorry you're having to have the Prialt in your pump. Please continue to post. I will check back very soon. After one year, I had to have my pump removed because it was defective. I had a poor excuse for a dr @ Duke in NC. I sincerely hope you are having better prognosis by now. Take Care and remember, It's not all in your head. It is very real and frighteneing to feel so trapped within your own body and mind and unable to express yourself. Bless you.

--When I was on this drug 7 years ago I had the same feelings and more. They say the dosage was to high and now they have lowered the dosage and are saying they are having better luck with the drug. From what I have been reading on this site it doesn't seem like they have this drug under control and now i am afraid to start this drug again. Has anybody had any luck with this drug.

When a pain pump gets installed, do you still "feel affects"? Such as the fatigue of morphine, etc?
Or whatever drug you have injected into the implanted pain pump, do you still feel actual side effects from the drug?
