The 2mg Polaramine tablet is not a slow release tablet like the 6mg.
The closest equivalent dosage using the 2mg tablets would involve taking the tablets every 4 hours - 2 in the morning, 2 at night and 1 twice during the day... very complicated!
Why don't you see your doctor or pharmacist and try some of the newer long acting anti-histamine tablets that you only need to take once a day and are equally effective.
Good luck.
