Get to the dr. Asap! Sorry to be so blunt, but I am the queen of female problems. I have endometriosis, anemia, ovarian cysts, and my right ovary had such major hsrm from all the cysts that they removed it. It sounds like a cyst to me and u really need to get it checked so it doesn't rupture. There are a number of other things it can be too. It was hurting to touch my side, cough, go over speed bumps or rough spots on the road, put a tampon in. I would go up to your local E.R. now. This should not wait. I don't mean to scare u. Please keep me updated. I will friend u and u can friend me, then we can talk privately if u like. I am 30 and still get embarrassed talking about female probs openly... lol. I am praying everything is fine, but please get it checked and let me know. ANNA

Dear Shawn, Please go see your dr tomorrow, unless you get worse tonight, if you get worse, go to the Er. You likely have an infection, it could be a bad urinary tract infection, a kidney infection, or even pelvic inflammatory disease and you need to be seen by a dr extremely soon. The tendersness/soreness and the odor indicated infection, you are probably running fever too, Please see a dr extremely soon. I didn't want to scare or upset you, but your symptoms indicate a fairly serious infection.

You might have PID or pelvic inflammatory disease which is a bad infection of the female reproductive organs. Be sure you follow through and get this treated. See an OB-GYN. If it is PID it can cause scarring and can render you sterile plus it can make you septic so be very careful.

I hope you have booked in for an ultrasound,i suffer with the same pain, and with many trips to my own doc for years who put it down to bad period pain,i was finally diagnosed with endometriosis,i am still suffering with pain and undergoing many treatments to help ease it.
I also have a two year old little boy so can understand the stress when trying to manage pain and look after kids..
Please get the ultrasound,i doubt too like Patti said you'll hardly need colonoscopy, the ultrasound should show up any cysts or fibriods you may have,or endo if the case. Please do not stay suffering, there are answers out there, you just need to stress the pain you are in.
I wish you luck aand hope you find the answer to your pain asap.
