I had surgey last week and have been on a roatation of percocet and Norco every 3 to 4 hours. I, am tapering off them slowly. I would like to take a zolpidem tonight. Do up think thst is ok if I wait an hour or so after taking my last dose of painkillers for the night?
Would it be safe to take Zolpidem tonight whilst rotating with Percocet and Norco?

Hi Lisadh - Personally, I would wait longer than an hour. It can be a pretty heavy duty sleeping med. (sedative-hypnotic), and there are still enough of the pain meds.in your body for at least 3-4 hrs. after your last dose. And, I would not even entertain the idea of drinking alcohol while you are taking the Zolpidem, at all. There can be many side affects (mentally) to watch for with the Zolpidem, but just be careful with over medicating and the synergistic effects of the medications on one another. 'K?
