I had my birth control outside with me for about 3 hours in my purse and it was about 80 degrees?

The label should give you the info, generally all meds have the storage conditions mentioned on the labels/packs, since its a birth control device would recommend to seek advice of your gynecologist who prescribed the med for safety, hope this helps?

It shouldn't affect it if it has only been a short time like that but I would not keep it outside anymore if you can help it because it could decrease it's effectiveness. When in doubt don't wait for us to answer contact your pharmacist too. We are hear anytime though, I know I am. Good luck to you. marjorie zych

Hi kelly28, I am RAMESES, and it's been quite some time for me, since I was in a situation as this (LOL, I'm an old guy), but long ago, we ran across this same problem, and everything turned out o k. The pills were just fine.
I almost want to guess that You're from Texas, because that's where I live, and it does get hot here, and this is the season for it, but I think that You'll be o k, but just on the safe side, and to make Yourself feel better about everything, I would call Your Pharmacist, and just ask, that way, You won't have it on Your mind, and be thinking about it, at the "wrong time", Ya know?
