I had a cough 1 month before when doctor prescribed me to use Hycodan syrup for 5-6days after 4days i got relief so stopped taking.. But now i am having sam symptoms & i do have same syrup available at home.. can i re-use it? will there be any side effect if i use one month old prepared medicine?
Can i take Hycodan syrup that is about a month old?

You should be fine. Check to see if there is an expiry date on the bottle. It is usually in very fine print. Generally cough medicines have a shelf life of a couple of years so regardless I think you will be fine.
You could always ask a pharmacist for a second opinion.
