The lump feeling still there, i am taking pantoprazole for 10 days and i still sick with this feeling on my throut, doesn't go way!:(

My husband has a hiatal hernia along with GERD and he says he often feels like he has a big lump in his throat that wont come up or go down. He also has narrowing of the esophagus from the GERD and sometimes has difficulty swallowing. He has had to have the esophagus dilated a few times. Hope you get to the bottom of what is going on. that is an uncomfortable feeling. I have had brief episodes of that feeling myself!
Hi!!! yes i looked to see the symptoms for hiatal hernia, i dont have the sptms. today for the first time after 1 month i am feeling little better:):) today is my 10 days taking pantoprazole 40 mg, this medication takes long time to work :(:( , i have being praying so much for this horrible thing to go way!! GOD is listening:):)i have a appt with gi doc on march the 17th, i hope i get better and forget about it, till i go to see my docs in Brazil( where i have a health insurance), because if you are a sel pay like me,you are in a big trouble !!! and broke!:):)thank u !! have a good day!
