The easiest amswer to your question (?) is simply to ask your doctor for an authorization. I have never heard of tizandine, and it kinda scares me also. If this is the dctor that wrote for Robaxin, I certainly do not forsee a problem. If not, just explain that you have been on this medcation, after trying several others, and this is the one that suits you best.
I can't see why this would be an issue, unless you are living in a communist state or Mexico or the like...

PS There aren't thatmany to chose from... flexeril, robaxin, baclofen or soma where I resde... or you could try for valium which is, by far, the best skeltal muscle relaxeron the planet (my opinion)...
