I cannot get my supply of Elmiron in the UK what do I do?

Details:

I understand other countries supply Elmiron - I cannot understand why the hospital pharmacy do not seek a different supply from elsewhere - I am down to one pill per day instead of 3 and flare ups are happening. Does anyone know the best thing to do?

Has your doctor suggested alternatives.... eg Phenazopyridine, Dimethylysulfoxide, Trospium.
If the UK is no longer going to be supplied Elmiron you have no real alternative but to try something else. (unless of course you go to another country where it is available)
