Hi, you do not tell us if you have well water or city water, but I would guess it might be your water. Also, if you color your hair it could be the wrong color for you. If you double process your hair (as in perm and color) this can happen.

I have city water and this has never happened befor. I have not permed or colored my hair for probably 15 years so it can't be that either. The doctor did up my vitamin D to 2000 IU a day. I have someone checking that out also. Thanks for your help.
