You normally need to wait for at least a week for the drug to build up in your body and have any effect. Choose a quit day 8 to 35 days after starting Chantix. Good luck!

You definitely need to give this a chance. I think it took me a few days to start losing the craving feeling. I also thought the cigarettes tasted different (which was good) so it was less tempting for me to want one. Please hang in there and give it a chance to work. Good Luck!
