I am on my first month of taking apri an just wanna no am I supposed to start my period the day i?

Highly likely that you'll get your period in the middle of the week of the inert tablets (white tablets). You won't get it on the first day.
However, your cycles CAN be a bit irregular for the first three month swhen you start a new pill.
