could it be in ambien? or Robaxin? Im terminally ill and on a lot of meds but my Dr will not be able to continue to see me if other meds are showing on my UA test. This is all Ive taken that he didnt think of. He did RX them awhile back for me, but I only take them if Im in agony and cant sleep, being Im on methadone for the most and roxycodonterminal ill humor sorry e and zanax prn Id like to know my own name sometimes of the day lol
I am not on this meprobamate, eyt it keeps showing in my drug tests. Can it be in others meds Itake?

Hi SKitzokitty 17, welcome to the site. First of all I am so sorry to hear you have a terminal illness. Second, why in the He!! does this doctor care what you are taking if you are terminally ill? That is just so stupie I cannot believe it! Sorry for venting, but some of these doctors need their licenses' pulled just for stupidity not for fear of the FDA! Make me very angry. I am not terinal, but have gone thru a similar situation & it's just not fair to people who really need their pain meds. Don't you just hate the way methadone makes you feel? That's what got me in trouble. I was told if I weaned from 150mg down to 10mg they would let me go back to vicodin or something similar, but by then the FDA stepped up the process, & they wouldn't give me anything else! So I suffered undo agongy for a year for nothing. I got a new doctor & am on oxycodone now & it really helps the pain.

Soma will break down into meprobamate. Have you ever taken Soma? I'm like Mary, if you are terminally ill you should take whatever you need to keep you comfortable. Have you ever looked into hospice or palliative care to take over your pain management? I think you would be a lot more comfortable. This is the biggest crock of sh*t Ive ever heard of! Tell your Dr you want palliative care or hospice. They will give you whatever you need to keep you comfortable. For palliative care, you can begin this as soon as you are diagnosed. For hospice care your Dr must certify that he thinks you have 6months or less to live so whatever fits your situation. They both do extensive pain management. As a terminally ill patient you should not be suffering one more iota than you have too! Please ask about this-you will be glad you did once you are under their care! Peace and God bless!

This is enough to grip your @$$ isnt it? What a crock! I hope this person can look into palliative or hospice care-they do wonderful and aggressive pain management.

Thus appointment will be a hoot I just got out of a 5 day stint in the hospital and they gave me my methadone, but had to supliment the roxy's for oxycontin and PRN Dilauded for extra pain. He is actually a good Dr and has put up with a lot from me. My mom being a nurse I have always trusted her instincts first and also she has given me meds when the Drs wouldn't so they can cover their ass's !! He is putting up with me and writing my situation in my chart because the state I live in, like many others the DEA is closing EVERYONE down! All it takes is one bad apple lying patient to get busted dealing, the Doc honestly didnt know and goes down for it!!! I have the one good non quack left in our county but their already starting to sit in their parking lots the DEA that is and they come in with warrants and pull variety of charts. If they see the drug tests dont match the labs they can shut em down. So us sick ppl are all treated like junkies just because of the games junkies play w the Drs, and it does make me mad. Any ways thanks for the replies = )))
