There are several over the counter anti gas treatments like gas-x that will help. I am not sure if this is a new problem with you or not, or if you have Gastro erosive reflux disease (GERD) but if you are closer to 40 years old than say 25, you may have GERD. You might try some over the counter medications like Prilosec or Prevacid to see if it helps and it should be taken in the morning 1 hour before you eat anything else and you shouldn't lie down for at least 30 minutes after you take it. That is so it will have a chance to get all the way down to your stomach. If you can find some digestive enzymes to take when you eat, that should help as well. GNC has them and most drug stores carry them online, but not usually in the store itself.

You can take some of the over the counter stuff to start with, if those start to work but not quite enough I would talk to your doctor about maybe getting some prescription strenghth stuff like Protonix. That in the morning and 300mg of Zantac at night has done well with me as far as gassyness and heartburn goes. Keep away from too much soda, spicy foods, coffee, and fried foods--- I know I just must have broke your bubble a little, your probably saying what is left to eat/drink but you will find that some bland food for awhile may help as awful as it sounds. Good luck chynadoll.

Hi chynadoll, Among a lot of other things, I too have this problem. I eat, get that full feeling, my stomach bloats, and I feel a warmth in my stomach up high almost to my ribs, and then the pain starts. It is one nasty pain too. It sent me to the emergency room once and I did a 4 day stay there. I tried all of the otc drugs for gas and heartburn, but nothing worked. A friend of mine told me to try drinking a 7up, which makes you belch. That was a help, but doesn't always work. I now am using baking soda in water. As soon as I feel this thing starting, I go and get a little juice glass, fill it not quite half full with water and mix about 1/2 tsp of baking soda in it. I drink it straight down, and then walk around for a few minutes. The most important thing is the belching. It doesn't help me to bring up a burp myself. It has to come up all on it's own, and when I do start, they are very deep and explosive.

Hello... I don't know if this will be helpful, but if you look in the vitamin section of your grocery store, you should be able to find something called Papaya Enzyme. It's a natural digestive stimulant and you can take it for several digestive issues. I have replaced my rx for Reglan (for nausea associated with migraines) with this natural product 5 months ago. And anytime i can find something natural to replace a medication- I am more than happy to do so! You chew a tablet after a meal (they actually taste really good, too). I use this as a pretty regular supplement to aid in my digestive regularity because I unfortunately have to take pain medication on a regular basis- and I have found this to be a very good addition to my diet. Of course, I don't know if you have any food allergies, but I thought i would throw in a natural, effective alternative that I have discovered through a good friend. Thanks... hope you feel better.
Hey tigerrr; Good advise , Good stuff, Tastes great ! I use it a lot! Sacosam
Thanks, Sacosam. I like them. :)

Hello chynadoll; I need pain meds badly but thanks to "Big-Pharma"! and some "A - Hole Doctors"! I can't get them. In order to get through a day, i'm therefore forced to take fistfulls of O.T.C. stuff like asprin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminaphen, and junk like that , which not only bloats me up so I look pregnant, but also kills my appetite to where I can't eat right.
