I am having a surgical procedure. Will taking welchol affect or interact with my anesthesia?

I take 16 mg of sub daily and am scheduled for a colonoscopy, should I stop taking for some time?

How many days before procedue? I have read the they use fetanyl after the procedure for discomfort and that could be a problem?
