I am having a section re-construct (diverticulitis surgery) in six days (this coming Monday). Today (Tuesday), I took 800 mg of motrin.
Took 800mg Motrin - Should I be worried about blood thinning during up coming surgery?

I would go ahead and ask your surgeon. You are kind of right there on the line. The ibuprofen is definitely a blood thinner and could affect your surgery. Some want you off these kinds of meds for a couple weeks some say 5-7 days. You should talk to your surgeon and notify him of what you took.
