I took a couple somas yesterday because I hurt myself cleaning out the garage and have a probation appointment today. I have looked online and most of the discussions were from 2008 and I know things have changed. Please help if you know the answer to this...

Hi Pixie,
As far as I know Soma won't show up on a 7 or 10 panel drug screen unless they specifically ask for it to be checked. They can write in an other drug they want to test for but it's not on the list for drugs they test for normally. I am no expert this is just what I have read about these tests. I too live in Texas. The test I take is a 5 panel test that gives immediate results, so unless they send it to the lab, I should be ok if I fumble again??? I didn't have to take a UA so wheeewww!!

I don't know how long until they may put it as one of the drugs they screen for. Since now they have officially categorized it as a controlled substance. I've been taking Soma for years with no problems but now none of the doctors want to prescribe it. My pain mgmt clinic took all their patients off it. Anyway good luck.
