... pills, I missed a period. I just moved cities, switched jobs and I'm planning a wedding, could stress have an effect on this?

Yes, but if you start having really strange strong symptoms, go see a doctor. I used to frequently miss my cycle on my pills but my hormones have never been right and I stay stressed out.
