I am currently taking alpurinal. What advantage is there to switch to Uloric?

Details:

My uric acid level is below 6 since I began taking Allopurinol. I also take colchicine every day. I am on the lowest doseage of Allopurinol.

Allopurinol works in the same way as Uloric (febuxostat). They are both xanthine oxidase inhibitors. So you may not experience anything majorly different in terms of therapeutic effect, as allopurinol is doing the same thing.
