I am currently awaiting surgery to strip varicose veins out of my right leg. The area most affected (the lower half of the calf muscle), has an area 2" x 3" where there is brownish discoloration that looks like old bleeding under the skin. Once the veins have been removed, is there a treatment which can help clear up that brownish discoloration? I was thinking maybe lasers could be used to possibly zap the stains away?
