Details:
I had 8 doses of andriamyacin when I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in late 2006 and early 2007. I have assumed and been reassured that my drops in energy, sweats, and chest aches were normal and related to the meds I took. Now I find I have severe regurgitation from the prolapsed mitral valve, and I am having surgery on Nov.3.
Is there evidence that there is a relationship between the meds and mitral valve problems.I am grateful for my cancer survival and have no interest in suits. I hope that more cautious care will be given with others who have this med. Thank you.
