Is it safe for me to take Ketoprofen for mild chest pain?

Ketoprofen is an NSAID or non steroidal anti-inflammatory similar to ibuprofen. It is used for inflammation and has analgesic properties as well. It is pretty safe but has been known to cause GI bleeding so make sure you always take it with food and never ever take on an empty stomach. If you develop stomach pain, have black, tar-like or bloody stools, or vomit a substance that looks like coffee grounds to stop taking and consult your Dr right away!

Have you had a good workup by your physician? It is unusual for someone your age to have Angina, but not unheard of. I would suggest you talk to your doctor & maybe have them do an EKG on you. Is there a history of heart problems in your family? Just a thought...
