the baby at all
I am 3 monts pregnant and have been on xolair. I did not know I was pregnant. Will this effect?

I'd like to ask you a few questions about Xoliar. I am going in for my first shot on friday and am very nervous about doing so. I know everyone is different and responds differently to drugs but I am just so nervous something bad is gonna happen. How long were/are you on it and did it help? What type of allergies/asthma do you have? I have severe allergic asthma which is why I am being placed on this drug. I had no response at all to all other meds so of course this was the last resort. i kept putting it off, more so due to fear but I did improve after the summer without it. But I guess Not improvement enough. I am just really nervous something bad will happen.. Also mentioned at the dr's office to me was the fact that Xolair connected with cancer was inconclusive.. I am even more so worried about this as my mother just died from cancer in 2007.

I dont know, maybe this is just my way of trying to avoid this yet again but deep inside I know i need it to have a better quality of life. I do not know anyone who has used this drug so thats why i decided to ask you how it has worked for you. As far as the pregnancy like I had mentioned above, i really think it would be wise to consult with your Dr. Before proceeding any more shots and also ask the pharmacist as well. I also hope you are feeling well and congrats on your pregnancy... Snakey
