Hi yes It contains sulfa, therefore no you can not take it because you are allergic to one of the chemical components... OK
I AM NOT A DOCTOR... just a caring individual
Levsin tablets (hyoscyamine sulfate tablets USP) contain 0.125 mg hyoscyamine sulfate formulated for oral administration.
Levsin is one of the principal anticholinergic/antispasmodic components of belladonna alkaloids. Chemically, it is benzeneacetic acid, a-(hydroxymethyl)-, 8-methyl-8-azabicyclooct-3-yl ester, [3(S)-endo]-,
sulfate.
I hope this helps you.

I am also allergic to Sulfa Drugs very severely but I have been able to take the Levsin/SL with no problems and have found out from my specialist it is only a derivitive of Sulfa not an actual Sulfa Drug so I would suggest talking to your doctor and asking about it before making any decisions wether to take it or not. Good luck hope this helps I know this drug has helped me with severe pain, nausea and spasm issues but everyone is different. marjorie zych
