Your doctor won't respond to your phone calls? I would get another doctor or at least another opinion.. I have no clue what Hylan G-F 20 is. Sounds like steriod shots? Sorry I cannot be of most assistance. You might ask Dave(mpvt) or Robert_325 on this web site. They are very wise and give great advise... Good Luck to you my friend.. Kim

Thank you for your comment. My doctor's office finally called back but it was his assitant. I never get to talk to him unless I see him in person. When she called back she said the doctor didn't want to see me. They will keep me out of work for a few more days and then they want me to start pool therapy. I don't understand what pool therapy has to do with having a reaction to an injection. So, in the meantime I still have pain in that area, stinging, burning pain. My case is a worker's compensation injury so it gets complicated. I did ask for another doctor and the insurance company turned me down so I may have to go another route on this.
What is up with this medical crap. I get so angry every time I hear a story like this. It drives me crazy. I live in Texas. I love my Doctor. I have been going to him for about 20 years and he is wonderful. He helped me through the back surgeries, thumb reconstructive surgery, etc. And he's just a D.O. But he talks to you, not a you. I wish you luck. And a life without chronic pain. Kim
