Hydrochlorothiazide - I have some hctz which is expired. Can I still take it?

Is hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg ok if it has an expiration date of 5 or six years?

If a medicine has expired then the manufacturer can no longer guarantee the drugs safety and efficacy. You are best to throw them away and get a new prescription.
