I was on humalog in a vial and then switched to the kwikpen for convenience and ever since I have noticed a body odor. Also what is the difference in the kwikpen and the regular pen?

The only difference between Humalog in a vial and Humalog KwikPen is the way that you give the dose - there should be absolutely no difference in the amount or type of Humalog you are injecting. It is highly unlikely that the KwikPen is causing the problem.
Humalog comes in three forms:
Humalog 10 mL vials (bottles) are for use with a syringe or external insulin pump.
Humalog Pen is a reusable pen that takes 3 mL cartridges.
Humalog KwikPen is a disposable pen that is pre-filled.
