If you quit today, it is possible, but not guaranteed you will pass. Some need 4 to 6 weeks of not smoking to test negative, pot, benzos, suboxone and methadone tend to embed in the fat layers, and have to be metabolized out first, before you test negative. Other meds will not test positive after 3 to 8 days, but these meds can take weeks to show negative, save yourself some heartache and fear, quit today and you could also run a home test the 5th to see if you test clear on that. Your chances are greater you will pass the test if you quit today. I tested negative after only 2 weeks of not smoking, but it may take longer for others, there is no guarantee.
